Join Equality Texas and the Resource Center for their Dallas County Regional Advocacy Day in preparation for the Texas Legislative session. Session started on January 10th and we already have more than 70 anti-LGBTQ+ bills that have been filed.

This training will provide attendees with: - Update on the current state of LGBTQ+ equality in Texas and at the Texas Legislature; - Training and tips for providing testimony at the Capitol; - Training on how to meet with your lawmakers; - Ways to plug in to advocacy actions at the Capitol no matter where you live Collin County organizer Gordy Carmona will be leading this training and anyone interested in helping fight bad bills at the Capitol is encouraged to attend.
